Driveaway is an insurance cover from Norwich Union Direct for all customers purchasing a new or used car from Silverdales. This Superb benefit provides 7 days' FREE comprehensive cover an removes the hassle of arranging your insurance before collecting your new car.

How do I get Driveaway?

First ask us for your new cars registration number, and unique dealer code.

Then simply call 0800 015 1392 for a no oblligation annual insuration quotation and to arrange your 7 days' FREE comprehensive cover. (Mon-Fri 8am - 9pm, Sat 8am - 6pm & Sun 10am - 4pm). You will then receive a quotation number. Norwich Union Direct will send a cover-note dierct to Silverdales which you will recieve as proof of your 7 days free cover once you pick up your new vehicle.

Then...

Once Silverdale has received the vehicle cover-note, your vehicle will be taxed and your 7-day Driveaway cover will be activated from your agreed collection date, allowing you to 'Driveaway' your new vehicle.
